For the past three decades, Frederick J. Nachman has counseled top management at a wide variety of companies on investor issues and communications strategy. He was co-founder and executive vice president of Corporate Technology Communications, Inc. (CTC), a Chicago-based public relations agency that grew to become the city's 10th largest agency within two years. Fred has also served as senior vice president and director of the investor relations practice at Golin-Harris Communications, Chicago, and a partner at The Financial Relations Board, Inc., where he supervised the agency's largest account group. Services offered by Marjan Communications include consulting on communications strategy, investor materials, M&A communications, investor analysis and contact, internal communications and media relations. His clients, which have included Fortune 500 companies, come from a wide range of industries, including financial services, insurance, real estate, manufacturing, healthcare, electronics and technology. Fred also serves as the financial communications/IR consultant for a5 Inc., a Chicago-based strategic communications firm specializing in public relations, marketing communications and graphic design. Fred holds several professional awards, including the coveted Silver Award from the Financial World annual report competition for Budget Rent a Car and a CIPRA Award for Old Republic International Corp. He is the author of a chapter on investor relations in Real Estate Investment Trusts, published by McGraw-Hill. He has been a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) for more than 20 years.
